5 stars: This is the gold standard of what a news app should be. Navigation is intuitive and previous editions are easy to obtain. Each new release seems to have some sort of bug but to WSJs credit they seem to be fixed quickly. Some pre-release quality control wouldn't hurt. Stability issues appear to be fixed.

4 stars: much better than in the past, less likely to crash and I like how the next article is seamless to go to. one complaint is that if I leave an article open and walk away from my phone for a while then the app logs me out and I am unable to continue reading the article without signing back in. weird!
3 stars: Finding and reading articles in today's paper is easy and works well. BUT, 1) no ability to see or interact with comments; 2) clicking on flash notices doesn't direct one to the proper article; 3) clicking to the website requires logging in everytime, even for subscribers. Update: no change. App needs investment.
