4 stars: It worked immediately and perfectly for me. I have a 7 year old samsung. It dropped its youtube app, so I'm testing work arounds, but it seems like this only works with the apps I actually have on the tv. So I'll pass. I was however able to stream local files: photos, hd video, music, without a single issue.
5 stars: I've just used this app on my redmi note 5 it works fine. The most iteresting thing is that i can remotely control the tv even if the IR emetter of my phone is not oriented directly to the tv. Generally spoken I love this app and it does what i want to do
3 stars: This app is very cool. However, also very spotty and unstable. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. It is currently not working. It does not read the WiFi and thus won't connect to the television. But when it works it is awesome. Is there a way Samsung can fix this?
5 stars: I must this updated version of Smart View is finally working as it should. Totally worth the download. All it needs now is to have the ability to sort the files or add a queuing option. But it's definitely much more stable than VLC. Thank you Samsung.
4 stars: App recently updated, works as expected. App now wants access to device location? Denying it access does not seem to have any negative effects. So why does it need an uncessary permission?
