4 stars: Worth Playing, few minor issues.. While playing the campaign, you are not shown the story, its just a series of battles... But you can read the context of the campaign only when you are returning to it from the menu to select the battle.. Lack of immersion? No option to change ship colors, I'm colorblind so it's a pain to even spot the little red ships. But other than that its a fantastic game.. Reminiscent of Battlefleet Gothic in a overly simple comparison.
4 stars: Lot's of fun, I can't wait for more updates! While the opposing sides rarely have equal ships, it's more a matter of rock-paper-scissors. No luck or real-time action involved, purely a battle of strategy. Some things I would love to see is the option to watch a recording of a fight once finished. There would be no UI or or pauses for turns, simply fluid combat to watch and enjoy. In addition, fights with more than 1v1 could be lots of fun. Be is a 3 player free for fall or 2v2. Finally, since multiplayer is apparently not going to happen, would it be possible to add a hotseat version?
3 stars: While I love the rare opportunity to play a turn-based tactics game, this particular game features fairly dumb AI and a very shallow story. I've blown through to max level on the campaign and every other component. I like the idea a lot, but this game needs more content, and a compelling story to make it more enjoyable.
