5 stars: I have literally no clue why this exists as a DOOM game, but I love it. This game, except for the 0fps, is what I imagine wars look like in Hell. Either way, this is oddly awesome.
3 stars: Live the idea of this game but the CPU just cheats and spams cyberdemons. It's almost unplayable because of this.
5 stars: In all difficulty levels, Pain Elementals are the key to victory. Think of them as aircraft carriers, except they carry Lost Souls towards the enemy base. The Lost Souls act as kamikaze attackers that can both soak up enemy projectiles to protect your other units, and deal massive area-of-effect damage en masse to enemies. However, Pain Elementals should be able to survive and be complemented with groups of Cyberdemons and Arachnotrons spawned at the right time so that all of them arrive at the same time right in front of the enemy base. This way, your constant stream of Lost Souls spawned from your Pain Elementals protect your assault forces, and your Arachnotrons and Cyberdemons combined can break through the waves of enemy Lost Souls and destroy the more dangerous enemies behind and overwhelm their defenses. This strategy works almost every time if you wait until you get about 200k points to spend and properly time the spawns of Pain Elementals, followed by Cyberdemons, and then Arachnotrons, taking into account their different movement speeds.
