3 stars: Misfit apk download - This was working alright until the latest update. Who's idea was it that you NEED to enable GPS for this to sync? It worked perfectly fine before! Other gripes is that I don't need to be reminded how to use the heart rate tracker everytime I use it - get rid of the pop up.
2 stars: Misfit apk download - I really like the Shine 2, its style, and it's accuracy at tracking movement, but is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE that only iOS gets smart alarm functionality. For a tracker that you're supposed to wear all night to track sleep, the lack of any alarm setting options beyond one time, or every day has left me extremely disappointed. iOS gets the ability to wake you up at a period of very light sleep, to help ease you into wakefulness. Misfit didn't think it was worth it to port this function to Android, and it has been that way for a year. That's why I'm giving this otherwise acceptable app 2/5 stars.
2 stars: - I've been using the original Shine for over 3 years. I really like it's stylish look and how lightweight it is. About a year ago I started having issues with the Shine synchronizing with my phone (Nexus 6, then Nexus 6P). Contacted support and they give me a dozen of different things to try to troubleshoot. Reinstalling the app is one of them and used to work for a while. Sometimes, retrying the sync 5-10 times would also do the trick. I still like the device, but I'm probably getting enough of the sync issues... They look to be app specific. I can see my Shine in the list of nearby devises in Bluetooth settings, but the app always struggles to find and sync with it. This used to work reliably back in the days, but is a major frustration now.
