5 stars: Man, imagine my surprise when I decided to reinstall this game after so many years to then find it works just as well as it did back then. It's even been updated (or it might even have been futureproofed) to actually take advantage of the wider screens that phones have these days. Anyway, PVZ is a true classic of a mobile game. 3 stars: I understand being bombarded with ads for a free game, but too many ads CRASH THE GAME. For instance, almost every time I get a Facebook Games ad, at the end of the ad there's no button to close it--EVERY SCREEN PRESS brings me to the Play Store. I have to quit the game and restart when that happens, and it's supremely annoying. Otherwise, the game is excellent.
2 stars: Not as good as the desktop version, naturally. The controls are janky, this game is clearly not meant to be a touchscreen game. But somehow it's easier? Like you can watch ads to get help in a level which is kinda lame. Lastly idk if anyone else is having this problem bc it's never happened to me before but the game just randomly resets if I leave in the middle of a level. It's kind of a big glitch... Otherwise this is plants vs zombies.
