5 stars: Love this app! I prefer it over the preloaded caller app. HOWEVER... Recently, when I receive an incoming call, my phone rings and flashes as expected but the full screen/half screen/ pop-up notification with caller details and the option to answer or decline doesn't show up. I'm forced to let it ring for the entire duration and then check my recent calls to see who called then call them back. So, that's been a real bummer...
4 stars: Not sure why the speech-to-text call screening is not available on phones other than the Pixel, but if that feature were available I would give this five stars. Other than sending and receiving phone calls (and maybe caller ID, but screening is more thorough), that's all I want out of a phone app! That was the best feature I've seen in a while, and I miss it!
3 stars: I'm not sure if it's the phone app itself or the devices running it, but it can be buggier than a swamp. 10% of calls go straight to voicemail without ringing, there's spottiness and dropping reminiscent of the early 2000s, and sometimes the app crashes when you enter a number and call it (as opposed to selecting from contacts). it would be nice if the phone app was the most reliable part of the phone!
3 stars: The call volume and speaker volume will both default to the highest setting meaning everyone in the room can hear the conversation. In the phone app either before you make a call or during, you need to click on the top right '3 buttons' then click on Acc...
