4 stars: The transfer from the old app was pretty effortless. The firmware update was very easy to do. This application seems to play much nicer with the Android operating system. I have not tested probe notifications yet. My only complaint is the splash screen is a little obnoxious and should probably be used only for new logins.
4 stars: So far good but can be improved. Ideas: 1) be able to add names/labels to probes, and 2) be able to set a recipe that the grill can follow automatically temperature and timing wise (including probe temps), 3) for the lockart: be able to set temps for the smoker not just the grill, 4) finer tuning for temperature settings, 5) adjust level of smoke.
2 stars: First couldn't connect.. either user not recognized or too many password resets or try to put in a new, email in use. Got that corrected, but unlike the SmokeIT app can't connect from other end of house. Have both wifi and Bluetooth enabled. Both come up Noam. Near unit works fine but not sure what's gonna happen if I try to keep tabs around town. Can't keep a steady connection from t'other end of house.
