5 stars: I give that at five stars because it's the only way that the developer will notice my review. Have used the app on my TV several times and it never failed to operate the TV. It's very user friendly, but I had to reset my phone so I had to reinstall the app but this time it's doesn't want to connect after I enter the PIN. Other than that I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an easy way to control the TV with their phone
4 stars: I use this to control my LG C1 OLED TV. It doesn't always work (e.g. fails to recognize the TV is turned on sometimes). But it has useful functions when it does work. I would like to have some extra features in the app. 1) An option to turn the TV display on/off (just the display, when I am listening to radio for example). And 2) A touch keyboard on the app to type on the TV.
4 stars: Nice but provides quite basic TV controls only. I wish I could see in the app what Picture preset I'm in and being able to also select a different one from the app, without having to go into the Quick Menu or the full Settings via the RC would be a huge improvement for us enthusiasts.
3 stars: When the app updates itself, it makes you accept the new service terms before it will send alerts that the washer or dryer is done. The problem is that it doesn't tell you that, the notifications just don't work until you go into the app. They have updated them twice in the last month. A decent app, but it's made inconvenient by corporate decisions....
