5 stars: Excellent app. Great customization, easy to use and commucate. I have one issue; if playing with a friend mobile device to mobile device and I send an invite, they don't receive it since they are signed in on another device. I doesn't affect the game once we get connected but a little annoying. Not going to knock off a star since it's still great.
4 stars: Good game and actually teaches you chess. BUT there is an annoying issue that i keep on exiting the level and losing all my progress without any warnings, so getting back to menu and losing the lesson progress is easy. And also there can be a little easy explanation for chess terms like en passant and castle. I had to search it up to understand those.
4 stars: Fun game to play. The only thing that bothers me is I cannot turn off the buzzer sound specifically after you put a piece back down. It's fairly annoying and It bothers me when I intentionally let go of a peice in a way that it will go back to the old spot. I can turn of the
3 stars: About a year ago, the app had a number of issues (e.g. re. timer), which were later fixed. The newest bug is that some moves I make are not properly executed, as the piece I choose to move ends up on the wrong square. This does not happen often, but usually prompts me to resign the game. - I have no comparable problems when I use other apps, so I don't believe that my phone is defective.
