4 stars: I would give 5 stars if you could unblock a single channel instead of having to unblock everything. I love that you can block just the video or the whole channel but I'd like the same options for unblocking. Other than that, it's super easy for little ones to use. Only shows safe material for kids, I feel comfortable leaving my 3 year old with it if I'm not able to watch directly over their shoulder. Love it.
3 stars: We use the approved content only function. It's a great concept but the execution is pretty bad. When you approve a channel only a handful of videos are accessible, and there is no way to add more. Approved videos will randomly appear and disappear and there is no search function to find them with, which is very frustrating. A favourites list or the ability to make playlists would help solve some of the problems.
2 stars: I have a kids profile set up with approved content only, which I was gradually adding to over a couple of years. Now the search function does not work for finding videos to add. Deleting and reinstalling the app did not help. The proposed solution in the help files is to delete the profile and start over. I would have to search for and re-approve probably over a hundred videos! I don't have the time for that.
2 stars: Nice idea but interface is terrible. I can't find the audio settings anywhere (no way to turn off the annoying background music), it's forced into landscape mode, the digital keyboard covers over content, and ...
