5 stars: I've been using this app without the donation for about 4 years. Especially have liked the dashboard. I never really took a close enough look at what this thing will do. I just realized that, besides Google Maps, it has the
4 stars: Have used this app for some years. Has lots of useful features like datums for each region, directing to particular coordinates. The tracking however doesn't seem to follow the exact points I walk through. Seems like once the screen is off it stops. It's like the app doesn't function in background mode. Can something be done? Also noticed that the simple way of measuring the distance between two points using the cursors is not available?
3 stars: Like the app, but it needs work. I added the
3 stars: You have to manually turn on your location on your phone. The pictures I took where not transfered to Google Earth. Some of the points where not not right when I got them in GE. All the points wouldn't show up at the same time in GE. I had to make new points & copy them over for them all to show up at once. It made a KML file but not a KMZ file.
2 stars: I used an earlier version on my old phone and it was great. The latest, however, is a nightmare - incredibly difficult to find your way around (it's not even clear how to get back to the main menu screen) and over-complicated (what's the difference between a 'track' and a 'stream'?). I can't even get it to record a simple track reliably, which used to be a one-press operation...
