5 stars: Exceptional app !! I found all newspapers I wanted, and the layout is phenominal. Only one disappointment: in the settings I am able to switch temperature measurements, but sadly the temperature reading doesn't show up anywhere. Update (18/11/22): Google, it doesn't come on, or stay on. The number appears randomly but not permanently.
3 stars: The old app was so much better. This new one is a mish-mash of an interface. Harder to find what you want, no apparent way to customize the order of categories, and my custom topics show nothing but unrelated garbage, whereas it didn't before. **Edit: The various updates have brought improvements, but it's still nowhere near as good as the old app.
2 stars: Not the best app. It doesn't show news in the order that it was posted. You'll get news from like 2 weeks ago showing up first instead of the most recent news. Who reads news that way? I want to know what's happening now not what happened in the past. Edited to add- clearing the cache, and resetting the app does absolutely nothing to make news articles show up in order of time. It's the app itself. Not my phone.
2 stars: It used to be very convenient and deserved give stars, but became very annoying with one of the latest updates, where the app keeps refreshing very often while you are browsing through the list of news. The problem is that at every refresh, the list goes back to the top story, so you never manage to scan more than a few stories. I hope this issue...
