5 stars: I appreciate that the program is audio and doesn't require matching and watching the screen. I also like the quick button to back up 10 seconds when I want to repeat the phrase. I'd like to be able to view a transcript of the conversations and sentences rather than the reading booklet only showing vocabulary. It's great that I can download the lessons to use offline.
5 stars: An excellent way to learn a new language. I took french courses throughout high school but couldn't even hold a conversation. With Pimsleur and the clear explanation of enunciation and the subteties of casual speech, my confidence is growing to speak French. I would say that the price is worth it if you want to improve yourself.
4 stars: This application has been a wonderful way to acquire a pretty decent grasp on speaking French. I have had to reinstall the application twice over the last few years to get it working. For example, a particular unit would not play but others would, and I reinstalled to see if that clear the problem and it did. Overall a positive experience with this language series.
