5 stars: Excellent in many ways. Very fast at opening large files. Two improvements needed: 1) Ability to sideload extra fonts. 2) When a book is opened from my external SD card, a copy of it goes to the Downloads folder on my internal storage. I hate this! Can it not read the book from its original position?
3 stars: I like it plenty , but it has a very frustrating 'feature' of saving a file back to whatever location it was in when AIReader first opened it rather than where it is when last opened. Example: Open and close a book in 'Downloads', move it to 'Books' (deleting it from 'Downloads'), and then re-open it in 'Books' and it will be saved back to 'Downloads'. The file properties should be updated to the current location!
3 stars: A great text reader, with the option to read aloud, only problem we have found, is that my elderly Mum, likes to read the text and listen along. The controls stay on the bottom of the screen in this setting, and they cover the text, which makes it very easy for Mum to lose her place, and she gets confused. If they could be a way of removing these from the screen when it's in use, it would make things so much easier... Thanks.
2 stars: This has to be one of the most annoying apps i every used. it ought to be good but its ui issues are really tedious. touch the screen the wrong way and you're in some kind of edit mode and have to press a button before you can navigate.
