5 stars: Minimal differences from the full version, but it takes up a lot less space. If you've got a fast new device with storage to spare, don't bother with this -- install the full version. But on older devices that can't hold so many apps or run them quickly, this is very handy.
3 stars: Audio cuts out frequently when person called is talking, even when no sound on my end. It's as if the App doesn't operate in full duplex audio. This means only one person can talk while the other must listen. If they both talk at the same time the audio is muted and nothing is communicated. Such a pain compared to Face Time. Video quality is sub par. Overall compared to Face Time on the same internet, very poor.
4 stars: works great. my phone just cant handle regular messenger (because of messengers extra junk) and it definitely saves data i think that it would be cool if you could turn on/off different messenger features though, just to be more customisable. for example, i would like to set my friends' nicknames. i know this wont be read by anyone but on the off chance that someone does read it, what do you think of the idea?
3 stars: I go with Messenger Lite to save space. Normally, it's a great app. But for some reason, when I send pictures, I don't get to see the photo. All I see is a text line that I can hold down on and download from there. And this issue is unique to my tablet. Neither of my phones do this, and everyone else can see the pictures just fine.
