3 stars: Ads?! I bought my vacuum, why on earth are there now ads on my app for it?! Outrageous! Edit....now it has also unpaired itself and I can't get it reconnected either. This is absurd! 4/2/22 update. Thank you for ditching the ads! And my vacuum is paired to my phone again. Just leave the app be from now on, sheesh!
3 stars: The App is okay. Connect and working well on my S6. Sometimes, it said the Vacuum is offline, had to turn off and turn back on to get reconnection. The big problem is the map, sometimes, it turned upside down, sometimes, it turned 90 degrees, and sometimes, it turned just a few degrees. The app will be better if we can manually rotate its map direction, zoom the map in and out.
3 stars: Rapido R8S: after a big update the options on the app are a lot better and choosing rooms was a good function to have. There are still times when the robot just straight up doesn't respond, or drives around the whole apartment instead of returning directly to home base. I would like to have the option for the robot to 'clean until battery low' or 'choose number of cleaning cycles' as it never gets everything in one pass of the floor.
5 stars: ABIR X8 robot vacuum works well with the app. Unlike most of the comments, I have had no problems so far. Map updates fast. Map editing is easy. You can control the robot manually via the app, but there is a lot of latency. Wish there was a Japanese language pack, but not sure if that is the app or robot vacuum's li...
