4 stars: I enjoy this app, but I found (during a year subscription) that I used it a lot at first, then it dwindled after that. I like the one free book a day, but I wish there was a way to pay for, say, a few books of my choice per week, rather than an unlimited subscription. Just a suggestion from a fan of the content. It's well written and narrated, which is great, because I usually listen to a blink while getting things done.
4 stars: Blinkist is a great service with lots to offer. There are so many great books that we can now get the gist of very quickly, both in text and audio formats. The app has features that the browser version doesn't, such as favorites and Shortcasts. I wish the browser version had them too. Also, I wish we could filter our library by topics. We can explore topics but not filter our libraries that way.
4 stars: I used to be a book worm, but shiny media crippled my ability to focus on a book for a long time. This app is great for me to take key messages from books I would love to read, and it also helps me select which books I should buy and read in full in my limited time and attention. Although I love the concept of this app, the app's user interface is really confusing and intricate. Must be improved!
