3 stars: It's fine and will take some getting used to, but I really need the push notifications to start working again. First they were duplicated with Gmail, then the app actually prompted me to turn off notifications in the app, now I receive none. For a texting app, this doesn't work! I've missed multiple messages for hours!
3 stars: I like the idea to move away from Hangouts, but I can't adjust the notification settings at all aside from turning them off/on. I prefer to have my different message/chat apps make different sounds, as I use Chat for work so I want to be able to prioritize the notifications.
4 stars: Looks very nice, don't use the call function but I'm looking forward to good integration with meet/duo (and generally disappointed with how badly it's been handled). Ability to only send one photo at a time will be fixed soon I guess, and it would be nice, if like the Google Drive+Calendar integration, there would be a Google photos integration
3 stars: It is ok, still interior to OLD Google Hangouts and Google Allo apps (precious version that included location tagging, and sms Integration). App doesn't explain that it is one-way only compatible with Hangouts (Chat imports conversations from Hangouts, but your contacts Hangouts users receive no message from Chat).
