5 stars: good stable app. haven't had a single deal breaking issue that I'm willing to call out and I'm very critical of apps I frequent. this is stable, well executed and works as intended. plex is still one of the best home media servers around. invest in plex pass! support the devs. pricey, but for lifetime membership.. worth it.
4 stars: I've used plex for more than 5 years, it's great overall. This app has definitely gotten better but still needs work. The basic functionality is usually fine but the bells and whistles aren't fully implemented. My most recent example of this would be trying to cast to my Sonos speakers. I bought a lifetime plex pass and am still not able to cast.
3 stars: 3/5 stars because the remote control doesn't work. It USED to work. Then an update occured at some point and now I can't use my phone to connect to my computer (while the computer is playing a show) and use my phone to pause, control volume or skip videos. I paid for what??? Nothing apparently. Nothing the free version doesn't already do.
5 stars: amazing. so much better than Netflix, Kodiak, Stan and Disney. I choose what I want and it never gets taken down and I choose the quality. any where any time on any device.
