5 stars: Fantastic! The word meanings are ample, simple, straightforward and explanatory. An added thrill is the historical angle to the origin of every word, be they Latin, Greek, French, German or, even Russian! I really love this app.
4 stars: Update special topics? The dictionary and thesaurus are great. Prime Ministers and Presidents is sadly well out of date. You'd have 5 stars if it was up to date!
5 stars: Excellent app since I first purchased it, over 15 years ago. So much to learn from language, like drinking vitamins. App layout and functionality is second to none. Love the word of the day feature and widget on my Android. Developer also provided excellent support on an issue, so I can't say enough good about this. Get it, and upgrade to the premium version. You won't regret it.
5 stars: Large database, concise definitions, reliable app, which is why the premium version is worth the money. Was experiencing some issues after the roll-out of one of the recent updates, which were taken care of swiftly and competently after contacting customer support. Thank you.
4 stars: Good app, and still the best UK dictionary definitions, also much faster than it used to be. Could really do with a quick way of jumping from a dictionary definition to the thesaurus definition and vice-versa.
3 stars: Small vocabulary on the dictionary section allows only brief definitions of words. For the thesaurus, words of similar meanings are just joined together to form line...
