4 stars: So far so good. Now not so good. The machine is superb and I am a huge fan. The app, not so much. It drops out in the middle of cooking. It won't connect at the start so I have to set manually and ask Alexa to time things. An app that lets you down is worse than no app. So. I will still use the device but I will not be using the app.
4 stars: Had to uninstall it would not connect, but if it did it just stopped currently cooking Wi-Fi anova.... I have updated this review as Anova support was able to get my device reconnected. Following their instructions got it back, and it no longer stops cooking Anova Precision Cooker when attempting to reconnect. I don't know why my 4 year old cooker just started having issues with recent app updates, but working now.
3 stars: Ok app in overall, but a lot of room for improvements. Anova Nano is amazing. App UX is not the best, at least I don't find it very pleasant to use. Circulator controls are essentially stupid, it would be nice to have sliders or something to set temperature and time. Private recipes management feature is utterly broken, in 8/10 tries, recipe is not saved, although no errors appears. This is the worst issue as causes data loss.
5 stars: I like the references. Get the WiFi. I had too much issues with ther bluetooth. You can remote control from any internet connection, so you can start it before you come home from work.
