3 stars: I use this free version alot for walking \u0026 it's generally good \u0026 fairly accurate. Recently though the ads are a nuisance \u0026 fill the whole screen unexpectedly, but more importantly the app is very slow to open \u0026 seems to hang for longer than necessary on the 'purple' screen. If they can speed it up then I'd up my score.
5 stars: The app works quite well in tracking my fitness goals. I really like the occasional challenges and being able to follow my friends and encourage them on their goals. I also like how the app works seamlessly across all of the MapMy apps, though you really only need one to handle all of your fitness tracking except nutrion which is where MapMyNutrition comes in.
4 stars: It's good, sometime I have issues with the app and it saying its recording a workout then I start walking and it doesnt track my location. (I have all the permissions approved and GPS turned on my phone.) Not sure why it does it sometimes maybe poor signal?
5 stars: It's great for me. I was looking for something that accurately tracked the distance and mapped my route due to my husband, our ryo daughter band I finding new hiking trails that aren't mapped. This is a great app and gives me the infor so I can combine it with my other apps for overall view of my health and activity.
