3 stars: I love being able to use the app to control my thermostat. I love how smart the app is. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the pesky notices to convert to 3 factor authentication. I loathe 3 factor authentication and it creates nothing but problems because you never know who got the code. It literally locks you out. It's annoying to have to keep telling the app that I don't want to add it.
4 stars: Very good app, East to use. Although you can't set your camera to record 24/7 and only receive notifications during a certain time period which would be helpful. For example, if I have childcare during the day and I'm not home, I don't want to receive notifications every time the camera goes off. But if I'm home I want to receive notifications during night hours. Other than that, it's a great app and affordable.
3 stars: Connectivity is pretty slow- for most of the apps, expect 20 or 30 seconds for the nest app to connect and be functional, even when you're on the same wifi. Also surprising that there are no Android widgets or integrated features for mobile. Everything is done through the app. It's not bad, it's just way less than I would expect from...
