4 stars: App frequently quits in the middle of a podcast - this issue was resolved with turning off optimizing battery usage. However, now loud ads have been playing over my podcasts. When I open the app to close the ad, though, there is no ad showing. I have to close the whole app to get it fixed. This happened twice in 4 minutes today. Both issues resolved.

3 stars: Great app, but i cant use it for livecasting. There are major volume issues in the livecast function as soon as you add audio participants. When i use discord to record remote interview with the same people and the same hardware.... there are no volume issues. It sucks, cause i would like nothing more than to use castbox for every aspect of my podcast. But the quality of audio while live is too bad to continue using.
5 stars: Edit : ad issue has been resolved I've been happy until the latest update that now allows the video ads that play above the feed to stop the podcast completely. When you're listening to a true crime podcast about a kidnapped child and are interrupted by an ad with perky music for a game I won't download, it makes me think about switching to another podcast app.
