4 stars: I love what AllTrails offers, but the app is awkward to navigate, and it is getting worse, not better. 3 stars: What gives? I have heard great things about this app from a friend. Its been a sounce of good info for a week or so when I decided to go ahead and pay for a subscription. Now the night before my hike I invited friends to, it says I cannot download the map and drops me into a purchase page. What gives? I paid for Pro. Is this a bug? Fairly serious I would say.
4 stars: Love using this app for finding trails and planning hikes. I also enjoy the recording feature which works pretty well for a phone GPS. Only feature I wish there was is a way to view all my recordings on one map, rather than having to go through and look at each separate recording. Maybe if the recordings displayed on the Explore map in blue or something so you can easily see where you've already hiked.
5 stars: Love this app. I bought the subscription too so I can use the maps offline. Very helpful when you take a wrong turn. Many extra trails shown on each map so if you miss a turn off you can see if the trail you are on will hook back up. Great for going off the beaten path without getting lost
