5 stars: Heard a song on a live stream, and fell in love with it. I couldn't find the song anywhere by googling, so I typed some of the lyrics I heard into Genius, and despite the song being extremely niche it had it in seconds! Really helpful little tool.
3 stars: They fixed the app, feels like a entirely new app. Especially addition of dark mode makes it shine. Saved Music category got revamped entirely. Good job Genius!!! The reason I gave this app 3 stars is that the app has poor performance on low end devices.
3 stars: Great app, despite all the mainstream hate because of what artists they're bringing in their channel: still absolutely amazing, the only thing is: why can't you annotate on Genius mobile? I have a Xiaomi Redmi 5 and it seems it doesn't work on anything at all, except iOS, how come? Would love it if they could implement it. And then I could rewrite this review Cheers
4 stars: The app is really good and I like the extra addition to save songs which you can't on PC. But I'd give it a 5 if after searching lots of songs you'd be able to tap the back button straight to the main screen and not to the previous search. It takes ages to come back to it sometimes
4 stars: I love this app, there are very few songs I haven't been able to find the lyrics to. Have yet to see Incorrect lyrics either \u0026 they link music videos so you can listen to the song while viewing the lyrics. The only thing i dont like is how bright the UI is, you need a dark mode....
