3 stars: The app works well on the phone, but it is horrible on Android Auto. Not only does it regularly freeze when searching for destinations, but stops still cannot be added into the route. In addition to this, the reporting feature is broken on Android Auto. It only displays the first two rows of reporting options, and scrolling is impossible. This app desperately needs to be optimized for Android Auto.
3 stars: Just ok. Biggest miss - No obvious controls to pause or cancel navigation especially while driving. Google had severely limited controls, if any, for this app. Huge window on map sometimes covers up areas i want to see, can't move window. Can't shut off the #@$* audio instructions, especially while driving. Nothing like having Google, Waze, car \u0026 phone all competing for the audio at the same time!
4 stars: I only use this with Android Auto. I really like the display. The map is more readable at a glance than Google maps. It is great for commuting. The notifications are great. When working through Android Auto, adding a new destination is difficult if not impossible or I just don't know how to use it.
5 stars: I love Waze and how accurate it is with traffic. It has helped shorten my commutes! It takes you alternate routes to avoid the worst of traffic and is incredibly accurate with details such as road construction. Users can submit accidents, road construction, slowdowns, road hazards, and more.
