5 stars: It's lacking a background player but everything else is great. From a user point of view, everything just works without the headache of things breaking when updated like the mainstream apps.
5 stars: I LOVE Locals! A platform that allows viewers to support creators without gagging the creator is unheard of today. Not only does Locals retain the ideals of Free Speech, but the platform is easy to navigate, creators can go live, there's a super chat/tipping function, and a live chat. Also, I always receive the notifications I subscribed to! Again, I freaking love Locals!
4 stars: The app is a good experience overall. Bookmarking posts of interest is very useful. That podcasts have their own listing or is also handy. It would be nice to be able to download podcasts.
4 stars: The content is good, but I find the UI is hard to navigate. I especially dislike that videos auto-play, and the setting to switch that off is hard to find and doesn't seem to be effective.
3 stars: I love the concept but its far too expensive to follow and interact with all my favorite content providers . I do however think the tip jar is an awesome idea . If subscriptions didnt cost so much I would tip often but the high cost of subscriptions has completely turned me off from spending anything on this app. I really hope you find a better method .
