3 stars: Pretty counterintuitive app, took me ages to find the station I wanted. And what's with the news stories? Not interested! Given that this is called Global Player I expected heaps of stations from across the world. Looks like it's just a handful of UK stations. We do like classic FM. Won't complain but can't really understand why this is bundled with our smart speaker.
3 stars: Fails to restart from where left after screen timer / app switch puts app in background even though still on the home screen as an active app. Very annoying as have to find the app again, load afresh, find the podcast (again) in 'My Library' and restart the podcast manually. This happens several times a day
3 stars: Just wanted to say the app is great, but the battery drain the app causes is MASSIVE! Honestly, if I use this app to listen to LBC then within a couple of hours my phone's battery is down nearly 50% I wish the battery issue could be fixed. It's the same with the LBC APP too. Please fix.
3 stars: Yesterday the app alarmingly used over 700mb of data listening to LBC for only 1 hour. After Android alerted me to unusual high data I noticed an update. Once installed it used about 40mb in one hour. Hopefully the data problem is a one off. Otherwise app seems okay.
