4 stars: Back in early 2020, the leadership of Sonos nearly imploded the company by trying to force upgrades by perversely claiming older speakers were obsolete. They had to back-pedal and ended up creating this bifurcated S1 and S2 mess. As long as the S1 is kept updated and my 11 speaker system continues to work as one system, it’s all good. Hopefully Sonos has cured itself from corporate idiocy.
3 stars: Less bugs than Sonos S2. Slow with some music services. Favorires and Playlists are usable, but not intuitive. The permanent banner promoting upgrade to a less functional Sonos S2 is ridiculous.
4 stars: Stability is here. App is working well at the moment. Don't mess with it and we'll be happy.
