5 stars: Free version worked great for my purpose, which was translating Chinese instructions to English. Took photo, chose language, translated. Done! Could be a tad more intuitive, but otherwise fine. HINT: It looks like you have to pay before it translates, but you don't, just click the X.
4 stars: Wish I knew more of the limitations of free version at beginning. Tried translating long message and hit character limit so broke it in two. Went to do next translation and told I had hit daily limit.
5 stars: This works very well. It lifts foreign text from pictures and translates it. Plus, it's the only app I've found to work with any accuracy and consistency. I've tried many, but I always come back to this one. Very good.
