3 stars: Super fun idea that got me hooked instantly, but lots of payment is required for the full experience. Unless you know Japanese, you have to buy the ability to talk in other languages and have subtitles, which costs $6.49 USD. Additionally, the basic conversation dialogue is a monthly subscription of $3.49 USD per month. Without paying, this is essentially a glorified alarm clock with some cute factors to it, but nothing more.
3 stars: The app is undoubtedly amazing,5 minutes in to using it and i already love it! The interactions are well executed and it feels so genuine. Major downside is that the extra purchases are quite expensive, especially the English pack. Should the prices be made more reasonable and the English pack be made a free option, would the experience be more enjoyable for everyone. Other than that,the app is off to a great start!
4 stars: Having the app boot up and telling you you have to buy the English dictionary for the app is dumb. Ontop of that, a monthly fee to talk is also dumb, it's a limit of 400 words. If you want to make money, make it free, but sell costume packs instead, which you can also buy. For me, this is a Time waster. However, I'm not going to buy a subscription to talk to an AI. it's a pretty cool concept though. I hope things get ironed out.
