5 stars: Good voice quality and simple to use. Very helpful. But has one problem. It keeps on blocking your account on grounds of violation even if nothing wrong is done. This creates a lot of inconvenience. And then it takes a long time just to unblock or unlock your account. You just keep on getting a ticket number.
3 stars: App needs better bluetooth headset support. I found that I must connect 2 bluetooth headsets and then turn one of them off to use my earbuds with Skype Android App. Also, in the Pop-Out window mode, the mute button and end call button are too close. I suggest they add a option in the notification bar to hang up instead of leaving it on the Pop-Out mode. Call quality is usually good and audio isn't bad.
5 stars: Skype has quite a few really good features like screen sharing. It seems to work reliably for me. I did in the past have issues with dropouts on low speed internet connections but haven't had a problem with this for a long time now. It also has a well built Windows app which others don't have to the same standard.
5 stars: Generally, providing the equipment at both ends of the call is operating with it's best performance then we find Skype to be excellent. My eldest son in Norfolk uses a laptop , we in West Sussex a tablet and our younger son his smart phone in New Zealand. For the family to keep in touch weekly Skype is wonderful.
