4 stars: It was one time that I saw a Windows 98 computer at an old school, with Driver 3 on it, followed by a BSOD. If you want to fully simulate a computer from 1999, then download this app. Also, the startup sound! The only thing is that you can't download viruses or applications, and no BSOD's or errors. Waiting on a Windows 3.1, 95, 2000 (Professional), and XP simulator. Also, the CON bug works (Run + c:\\con\\con \u003d BSOD)!
5 stars: Excellent work so far, looks great! Can we get wallpapers and screen savers working just with the defaultones next? Strange request but can there be an option to slow it down? it's way too snappy for 98! wonder if you can throttle the web browser too 😂
5 stars: I love this simulator! I would like to hear more of Windows 98 music. Click start-programs-accessories-system tools-Welcome To Windows. The music was located here. It would be great if you could put that music in. Also, my favorite screensaver was the 3D Maze. I had tons of fun with it back in the day. Keep up the great work!
4 stars: Limited functionality, but cool. Would love to see little features added like the ability to change the background/screensaver, full functionality on programs like Solitaire and Note/Wordpad/Paint, and maybe even a possibility to play device media through the Windows Media Player. Overall, an interesting bit of nostalgia.
