4 stars: app works well. naturally its still in development. the resolution changes without resetting the video. video speed conteol is smooth. Comments are easy to make. Right now there is no profile dashboard for notifications but if you login to the floatplane website and change notifications there it will reflect in the app.
5 stars: This is by far the best video streaming app on which to watch Linus Tech Tips, Tech Quickie, Tech Linked, or Bitwit. Accept no other. Install this app and it will change your life (in the sense of having 1 additional app on your phone will technically be a change).
5 stars: App works great! Videos too! Warning: This app does not make your plane float, your boat fly or your phone float or fly. But at least, unlike a vessel, a floatplane can't sink.

4 stars: it would be really awesome to have background play like YouTube premium so that when either the screen is off or you're doing something else, the video keeps playing. With a possible pop up player
