5 stars: Maps - Navigation & Transit apk download - My favorite Google app. The navagation sure beats those old GPS units. I am quite fond of the review feature, both for reading others' reviews about places I haven't been and putting in my own two cents about places who deserve recommendations (or warnings). Extremely helpful. I am not a big tech guy, but this app is one of a handful of reasons that I keep using smartphones.
3 stars: Maps - Navigation & Transit apk download - It's pretty handy to have installed, but being a teenager that relies on public transit to get around, it is rather frustrating trying to look at a route under the bus tab that is dysfunctional. It always says there's no connection to the nerwork, though all the other tabs work just fine.
4 stars: - Good navigation app MOST of the time. Can be lagging in giving directions on occasion - more noticeable in the last few months. It's English pronunciation of non English-speaking place names is embarrassing - I'm sure it's so users can identify better between the sound and written name, but it's baaad
5 stars: - Does what I want everytime. I wish you could freeze the screen from adjusting north& south. If I'm going south don't turn the damn screen around if its up, I want it up. South can be up if that's the way I'm traveling. East & west also..
2 stars: - It's a great app when it actually works. Most of the time especially when traveling out of state it won't update my position on the map. Definitely gotten lost in big cities more than once haha.
