2 stars: FUJIFILM Camera Remote apk download - Seems to kinda work? Although it's super ugly and barely functional. Weird that such a large company can't produce a relatively simple Android app? Was this thrown together by a few interns? Managed to get it to work with my S8. Make sure you have Smart Network Switch turned off if you are using a Samsung device or it'll switch away as soon as it connects.
3 stars: FUJIFILM Camera Remote apk download - When I upgraded my phone (Google Pixel with Nougat) it no longer worked. It would connect, but when I tried to choose a transfer method, the app would freeze or disconnect. After much fiddling I figured it out. I had to wait until the camera and phone were connected, and then immediately press OK on the camera (x100t) to select my new phone model.
3 stars: - App may need a few updates & tweaks. When it's connected, it's a convenience to upload photos to my phone and to change camera settings when shooting live. However, connection is inconsistent or slow. It can also be a hassle to have to reconnect to the app if you want to use another function (e.g. from uploading photos to using the live camera). Maybe take a few notes from the Canon camera connect app.
