5 stars: Ascension is a fast paced deckbuilding game with flavors of mtg. Not so much a battle game, your goal in Ascension is to score points and to create the most high value deck before the honor pool is empty. Kill monsters, buy cards, and combo up to score big each turn. With a ton of great artwork, solo/multiplayer play, and endless replayability, Ascension is one of the best card games available on the google play store.
4 stars: I love this game, but can't give it 5 stars for couple reasons. Firstly, on single player after awhile it can sometimes take *forever* for the computer to play. I've deleted some games and start new ones just because I didn't want to wait for the computer. Secondly, there is no way to change the amount of points available in multiplayer games. Play styles are quite different between a short vs long game and I'd like to be able to play long games against people rather than just short ones. Other than that I love this game!
4 stars: It's definitely a good game, and I enjoy playing it. The only disappointment I have is that Ive recently been playing Star Realms which is another well made deck building game and when I play against the hardest AI in Star Realms I win about half the time. In Ascension i find that I win against AI 100% of the time. Which isn't very satisfying. If you could bump up the difficulty on AI I'd be much appreciated.
