5 stars: The App is very reliable and does a better Job than Nissan (that's why I use it) however as it focuses on its core functionality it lacks many features. UI and widgets look dated. No differentiation between 7/3KW or time to finish charging. No tasker integration / updates through intents. doesn't have the trip / expenditure history. The positive side is the 12 bar battery status has a % estimate which removes the maths guess work. Provides logs, auto updates, and is very reliable.
4 stars: Far, far better than the Nissan OEM app. God, I wish Nissan would get their act together. This app needs to work around so many of Nissan's annoying bugs. One that it doesn't work around, though, and gets a star knocked for, is auth token expiration. Instead of simply re-logging in for a new token, it presents a cryptic (401) error, fixed by going to settings and pressing "log in". Fix that and it's a winner! Worth the price for widget, too.
4 stars: Go for the pro version to get the widget and auto update options. Neat use of bluetooth sensing to deduce car start/stop to enable auto-update. Very responsive (compared to Nissan app) and far more reliable (less communication errors, also auto-retry option for the auto-update). Widget is great for home screen status reminder of leaf and easy access button to turn on the AC remotely prior to heading for car. Some slight ui issues - very nearly a perfect app. Reduced to four stars due to the new 401 error still occuring in pas...
