5 stars: I started playing Gold & Goblins one day and never stopped. I play frequently throughout the day. It's self paced, and it is truly free to play. In-game purchases will get you further along faster, but they aren't necessary. The experience is like playing solitaire, except this has cooler graphics/animations. Check it out if you have some free time to kill.
4 stars: Pretty decent game. The volunteer ads for extras is pretty good, but the game gets monotonous quickly. You will never complete an event unless you pay for it, but you can get halfway if you check on it often. The price to buy currency is very high, so it's recommended to just get as far as you can. There's no reason to beat the events, you'll still get some rewards.
3 stars: Ads do not match game. Goblins do not move around, you drag them to a tile until they mine it then move it to the next one, when the tile is done they just stand there, even offline, and the tiles finish at different speeds so you need to check constantly. They constantly give you
