5 stars: Changed review back to 5 stars (again) because the devs really listen. The difficulty was scaled way back on this last event and there is a new off-site event, which is great. I want it to be known that I thought the new art was awesome, but I guess majority rules. Kudos to the artists.
4 stars: *Update: I received some compensation, but still only have partial progress. At least customer service is decent.* I got pretty far and was playing every night until the app stopped loading. I had to uninstall and reinstall for it to work again. Despite having my progress connected so that it would save, I lost a lot of my progress including the purchase of the newcomer island. I have emailed, but haven't heard back.
4 stars: I love this game! But the latest event won't let me use coins to buy extra energy. It is really frustrating! I have reset the game, and my phone to no avail. I haven't uninstalled yet - I don't want to lose my progress, so might consider linking it to fb or whatever the platform is.
3 stars: Update: Ways were added for earning more hearts, but getting to each land takes so long, the game gets boring. Getting the items to create the characters to uncover the fog, and then having to collect the crazy amount of elixer to even unlock to land. Its just too much and too drawn out. Collecting the items to be able to build the houses too, takes forever.
