5 stars: Great game! Not really a pay to win, but you can spend money to get some better units faster than through normal gameplay. Being in a decent clan really helps. With multiple troop and tactic loadouts, you can easily switch between styles of play, and make the game more varied and interesting. A bit of a battery drainer, but that could be because I play it often and for long periods of time!
4 stars: It is a little repetitive and of course the focus is on grinding and selling, but it's fun to just play casually. I imagine it is more pay-to-win as you level up but I'm not there yet.. so it's fun. Edit: You hit a wall pretty quickly and it's stale after that. It's amusing but between the repetition and hackers, it's not worth investing much time in - and especially not money on the overpriced paytowin aspects.
4 stars: Good game. It's all about being able to keep the battle swinging in your favor. And while you can pay to speed things along. You can also take the slow road and get to play for free. Here is a tip for free players. Focus on just using the basics for while. Level them up and save your resources for ome build. Having high level tactics and troops is better than having a big collection of low level stuff.
3 stars: Not a bad game, but totally pay to play. I see guys rolling around with one shot tanks and a battalion of my armor can't scratch it. My army is no slouch either. Expect to pay in order to upgrade.
