5 stars: This app is amazing. I realized why so many people have trouble with it, and it has to do with how the picture is composed. To analyze it better inhad to make sure to isolate something characteristic of the plant and have it stand out, different colors in the background or everything blurs together and it has trouble distinguishing the plant. I also think people expect it to be perfect everytime which is a bit unrealistic.
4 stars: accurate to an unexpected degree. constant reminders to upgrade get annoying and i personally found that whatever the app is doing behind the scenes is heating up my phone way more than it should be. explore section should be free. ads are not structured well to fit the flow of the app.
2 stars: This is a great idea, however poor in execution. I took several pictures of plants that I did know and the app got all of them wrong. 2 of the pictures I went further into and had experts recognize them for me. I finally got a answer back over 6 months later way too late to be any help in any kind of practical use. The 2 samples that I picked were fairly easy samples with distinct identifying features.
2 stars: I've been using this app fairly successfully for a couple of months. The last few days though, I've been having problems with the app crashing partway into loading. Not sure why. My phone has not done an update, so I don't think my phone is the issue Its a 16 month old Note9 Would love to get it back to working!
