5 stars: UPDATE: Well, seems like TP-Link/Kasa 3rd-party integration is currently crapping for quite a few people, and they have yet to acknowledge it (they have a network status page but according to it everything's still rosy). --- Issues with TP-Link/Kasa Smart devices. The SmartThings app reports some as offline, while others work (e.g. 6 out of 14 offline); in the proprietary app, all of them work & can be turned on/off. They remain
5 stars: computer savvyness is required. sync with other Samsung equals to very cool tech environment all controlable via its smart things app. Turn on/off tv via app.. non-Samsung smart outlet device won't work bc the tv will stay off after you have activated (turned on) the smart device. I have non-samsung devices and still don't find it a hassle to use 2 apps to control my environment. We use more than two apps daily anyways... right?
4 stars: It's good but I still feel like we should have access to a greater range of settings. Edit: thanks for the answer! Also, I've just noticed that the energy monitor seems wrong. The amount of energy registered hourly don't add up to the daily energy consumption. The daily value is always much smaller. It doesn't really help to predict the costs.
4 stars: The App is overall good, the interface and the connectivity Is good, but one thing I don't like in this app is that it doesn't have the keyboard for typing in the samsung tv I have the samsung 5 series model tv so it doesn't have the voice...
