4 stars: A great remake overall. The game is essentially the same with some minor balance changes, no trade routes, and some minor bugs (explore function doesn't work occasionally-unit gets stuck). UI is small but manageable, but pretty good considering its for a phone. Best of all, free and comes with mod support (haven't tried the mods yet but it's neat that its there).
4 stars: A very advanced game for what it is. Great app version of the game style, and a lot to learn. The Dev seems to try hard to make it accessible. More definitions and explanations would be great, and I got bored of the single player after a while. Online play would be hard to manage, but fun
3 stars: Diplomacy needs expansion, you REALLY have to fix the start biases, the difficulty differences are waaaaay outta control and it would be nice if the aircraft carrier could attack on its own since that's the only way to upgrade it...
2 stars: After founding 4 cities, can no longer build settlers. Is it a bug? Is it a game mechanic? Who knows! Not a word about it in the tutorial or help sections. AI civs seem to have no problem building more than 4. I can only assume it's a game breaking bug 🤷🏻‍♂️
