4 stars: I had trouble understanding the game in the beginning. Attacking on every second turn felt so restricted and I found myself wishing the health start was 30 instead of 20. Now I appreciate it a lot more and really like how rewarding the game can be for the weekly crates and quest XP. Decent game right now, I think it will only get better in the future.
4 stars: One of the best card games that I've ever played, love the diversity of the champions and how they impact the game, and how it's played. I love how faithful the characters are to their LoL backgeound. Only recommendation I have is to have a larger pool of cards at the beginning, I could barely make a deck of 40 cards. There was no ability to customize!
3 stars: There is an issue with the sound, where even if I turn down all the sounds settings, when you reach a new reward level a loud sound is played. This is very annoying when you are attempting to play someone quietly. Beyond that, game mechanics are fun and you can do well without paying.
3 stars: The concept of a wacky card game with polarized matches (MTG, Hearthstone, etc.) does not mesh well with this game's turn structure that attempts to provide more strategic and tactical depth. The two ideas find themselves at odds, as the wackier and more casual concepts make the game less strategic, and the decision-to-decison nature of this game fundamentally makes it less casual. The result is a game unsure of what it wants to be.
