5 stars: Best overall. This is the perfect mix between OSM and commercial, plus highly customizable in features, look and feel. Some others may do certain specific things better but Locus does everything best in one package. The online planning tool is a perfect example for added value that makes it worth the subscription.
5 stars: It's turned my old Sonim XP 7700 rugged smartphone into the GPS I've always wanted. Once I subscribed and got past the learning curve I couldn't be happier. It is wonderful being able to customize the screen to suit my specific use. I also really like being able to repurpose my old device. I just renewed my subscription for the 2nd year. Very happy customer.
4 stars: Excellent app. I use it all the time in off road adventures when out of signal. I use it sometimes online as well. Lately my galaxy watch stopped working with it. Not sure why. Also i cant figure out how to use 3d maps on it. That would make thinkgs a lot easer on some circumstances.
3 stars: Newer Version never dissapoints to dissapoint. If you are new to Locus, just look out for something else. EDIT= I dislike monthly subscriptions which locus now tries to push. The way you handle maps not through folders but instead Locus really annoys me. Furthermore I dislike the way you develop your ways of monetization its been worsening ever since I got into Locus
