4 stars: I love this game. It is one of my favourite games ever. This mobile version is also the definitive version of the game. But I have one problem and it's that whenever I delete a file and start a new file in the save slot, it would just say that the new file is complete. Deleting and reinstalling the app does not help. If you can change that, I would definitely bump it up to a 5.
2 stars: Too often does the game not register button presses, or does not register a button being held. Game works fine at early levels but becomes increasingly unplayable at later levels. It's a weird bug. I'm awesome at the game on the original console, but awful at it on the phone as Sonic doesn't do what I want it to do 20% of the time.
2 stars: The free version works fine, but the paid version does not fit the resolution of my phone for some reason. You can change the settings in your phone to force it to fill the screen, but then the graphics are badly stretched. To clarify, the free version does not have this problem at all. Other reviews make it clear than I am not the only one with this problem. Please fix this Sega! This game deserves 5 stars.
