3 stars: It's clear that a lot of talent went into this game, but there are a lot of areas it struggles with. Many game mechanics are unexplained (like elemental damage) or seemingly unnecessary (like the base), there's random equipment, and the story is unsure of itself. I would very much like to see this team's next project.
4 stars: This game is pretty fun, though the graphical design makes enjoying the environments more suited for bigger screens. It still works ok on phones. Voice lines feel very repetitive and annoying sometimes unfortunately while in combat. Though combat does feel lack luster. No fun skill cutscenes, and they are not that flashy or feel like they have much impact. It is pretty creative but lacks polish. The story cutscenes are very nice.
4 stars: It's fun, but there needs to be quite of few quality of life changes such as in the skill menu to be able to level up all skills at once. The camera can be wonky sometimes, which makes it hard to see what's happening in the battle. The game keeps loading and freezing on me, so I haven't been able to play a smooth session. Hope the game keeps getting improved.
5 stars: i am a King's Rain player, that means i love good story and technical strategies during fights. Time Defenders' story is great and exciting to follow. characters are relatable and fun. skill sets and battle options are varied which is a very big plus. so far, i have been enjoying the game and have really high hopes for it.
